Year 5 have had a brilliant first week back! The highlight has to have been our trip to the Living Rainforest on Tuesday, where we enjoyed a brilliant tour of the greenhouses all about sustainable futures. Packed full of learning about taking responsibility for our environment and what our roles are in caring for it, we all came away - children and adults like - brimming with new knowledge. We spotted so many different creatures and got to experience the feeling of being in a rainforest - from swooping birds to the distinct humidity!! We will be applying this learning in our upcoming geography and English units and we cannot wait.
