Fairthorne Residential Day 2!
Day 2 of our adventures
Our second day began with a hearty breakfast and lots of children were excited by the full English on offer!
The sun shone across the morning as we took part of a series of activities - some of us kayaking, some raft building, some orienteering and some even hanging from low ropes in something resembling Tarzan!
After a pizza lunch, the fun continued over the afternoon and luckily for us the sun stayed out too. Some of us enjoyed the climbing tower and highlight recommend it to everyone else tomorrow.
After dinner, we can’t wait for Jungle Escape…. We can’t decide if this will involve a jungle themed escape room or, more likely, running around fun outside!!
One more sleep to go!
Our favourite quotes from today:
Gabby - I’m really proud of myself for doing something I didn’t think I could without any help.
Niamh - I really enjoyed making the raft because we had to use lots of creativity and teamwork!
Natasha - My favourite part of today was kayaking because I learnt a new skill and I pushed myself to be more brave.
Amelia - It is so much fun here and the rooms are really cosy.
Tasha & Tillie - Faithorne Manor has taught us to work together and include everyone in our fun games.
Orla - I am proud of overcoming my fears and worries which I didn’t think I could overcome.
Harry - This has been the best school trip ever and all the activities have taught us new skills!
See you soon.
