Year 5 have had a super week and really enjoyed the descriptive writing that we've been doing! They loved writing the spooky setting to the poem 'The listeners'. They were then equally hooked by our next piece of writing linked to a girl Francis. We're so impressed by the level of description. 
We have also come to the end of our time on place value in Maths, we finished with Roman numerals. Y5 had such a great recall of this from Y4.

We mentioned the C word - Christmas - as we designed our Christmas cards for the HSPTA. 
 

We managed to get to do PE this week, we had a dry Thursday afternoon and had great fun playing netball rounders, practising our shooting technique.
