Year 3 Weekly Highlights 5.7.24
It has been another busy but successful week in Year 3!
Just like the crayons in our class book, this week our classroom chairs were quick to quit! Luckily, Year 3 were quick to write to the rest of the school on behalf of the chairs using their persuasive skills of exaggeration and rhetorical questions.
This week in Maths, we have explored the properties of both 2D and 3D shapes using our knowledge of vertices, edges and faces. Next week, we will explore making 3D shapes using nets before moving on to our final unit on statistics.
As a team and school, we are very proud of Year 3 for a great first transition day into Year 4. They were great role models for our new Year 3 children and demonstrated their excellent collaboration and working together skills to the Year 4 team.
Next week, we will change our PE days to Tuesday and Thursday so we can support Year 6 with the dress rehearsal of their end of year performance!
We wish all of Year 3 and their families a lovely weekend!
