As another busy week comes to a close there is lots to celebrate in Year 3.

In English, we began our new writing unit on persuasion and have explored the different techniques writers can use to be successful and tried these out ourselves in our apprentice piece.

Year 3 embarked on their new shape unit this week. So far, we have explored acute angles, right angles and obtuse angles along with horizontal, vertical, parallel and perpendicular lines. Next week, we will apply these skills as we recap, name and discuss the properties of 2D and 3D shapes.

Thank you to everyone who joined us for our Maths open event, we enjoyed sharing aspects of our Maths learning in our mini session!

It was great to end the week with our disco to celebrate Hugo’s birthday! Thank you to all who attended and helped celebrate the special occasion!
