This week has flown by in Y5!

We welcomed parents into our Maths lesson, to see a small snapshot of what a maths activities may look like. It was great to show what fluency we do. In reading, we have explored the 4 main characters in our book, The Explorer. This is going to be helpful when we write dialogue in English next week. We have written a setting description this week of the Amazon river. 

In our wider curriculum, we have been swimming again. It is so lovely to watch the progress they’ve made. As well as this, we explored databases is computing and joined in a road safety workshop with another 90 schools.

The highlight for 5B this week was going to see Wicked. We had the most amazing day and experience. What an incredible opportunity we had thanks to Seb.
