We have started back after half term raring to go with another packed week of learning. 

We have now come to the end of our digestion learning in science with some rather realistic scientific modelling. During our discussions, we realised that it wouldn't be possible to investigate how the stomach or intestines work with the actual organs, so they had to be recreated as closely as possible. The results we achieved with some tights and some mushed-up crackers were quite striking and rather realistic!

It was 4DN's turn to explore pneumatics in DT and they are now embarking on making a model of a dragon using air to move its jaw. They were very impressed with how strong air power can be and used balloons to lift their books up off the table!
