What a fabulous final week of Spring 1 we have had! The highlight has to be the VR headsets which were truly amazing. We were transported to a Viking settlement and experienced what it could have been like then. History has been the main learning this week, we have answered the enquiry question: We're the Viking evil raiders or peaceful traders. Y5 created speeches and read them to the class. On top of this, we re-wrote our poem of Spider and the fly into narrative with speech. This has been such a success and enjoyed by all. 
 

Another highlight of the week was our year group talent. We had no idea about the extraordinary talents across the cohort, everything from musicians, dancers, magicians, singers, artists, sports stars and more. Huge well done to everyone!
 

Sadly, we say goodbye to Mrs McCarthy today and wish her all the best in her new role. Mr Cross and Mrs Hartley look forward to teaching 5M after the holidays.
