This week in year 5 has been super busy- children have learnt:

-equivalent fractions and applying their times table knowledge 

-facts about Nelson Mandela's life and why he was sent to prison 

-balancing and using the gym equipment in the hall

- writing dialogue and weaving in the narration and actions of characters 

- played games using our netball skills

- using vector drawings (Computing) to copy, paste, manipulate, group and regroup shapes and lines 

- starting to look at water resistance

 

A very busy week for us and year 5 look forward to the last week before half term!
