Christmas is finally upon us and children revelled in the joys of the Santa Dash! Snow poured forth whilst snowballs were launched and presents posted down the chimney. 

Christmas also arrived with our writing; we learnt through Scrooge the true meaning of Christmas Spirit illustrated by the transformation of Scrooge the miser into Scrooge the benevolent. Applying our use of dialogue and passive voice, the children wrote the ending to Christmas Carol. 

The fun didn't stop there as winter sports were a great treat for all! The children threw themselves into basketball, benchball and dodgeball in order to keep themselves warm in the Christmas cold. 

"Merry Christmas to one and all! " shouted the Year 6 team!
