For the last week before half term, year 5 have had an action packed week! 

Calin- I have really enjoyed being creative and adding my descriptive ideas into my work. In English, we watched a clip about Francis disappearing on a lake and retelling the story to create an eerie, mysterious mood. In reading and computing, I enjoyed create a fact file about Yusra on jamboard. 

Han- in reading, I enjoyed making the fact files on the Chromebooks about Julie Abery, the author of the book we have read- Yusra Mardini. I liked this because I got to type, add and drag images.

Eva S, James, Ella & Khushi- we have been making Mayan music together on different instruments: recorder, drum, glockenspiel and bongo. We have enjoyed working together, playing in time, playing different beats and having fun. It has been great to try something new from what we usually do.
