Hello from Year 5!
We have had a great first day and settled into our new home for the week!
The sun has shone and we have played lots of games outside, had a site tour and our first meal in the canteen too. 
There were smiles all round when we announced room groups and the children were excited about how brilliant the rooms are. Our favourite quote: ‘This is better than a hotel!’

Later this evening, we played balloon splash where we had to earn points to protect our balloons. Lots of fun was had and one group even succeeded in getting our leader wet! 

Everyone is now in bed and asleep (nearly!). We are looking forward to an action packed day tomorrow.
