Week one completed! 

The children have come back in to school determined and motivated to learn. We have had the opportunity to start lots of new learning this week: adding, subtracting AND finding unit fractions of amounts in maths; reading escape from Pompeii in English; signing Roman marching songs in Music; we worked on our balancing skills in PE; looking at the book 'The street beneath my feet' and some information texts in reading; learning about temperature and using a thermometer in science; visiting the ICT suite in computing to practise our typing skills and, one of favourite part, learning about some of the different front covers for the Iron Man in art. 

A packed week full of new learning! We wish you a much needed, restful weekend.
