Year 4 Weekly Highlights 24.3.23
This week has been dominated by preparations for Beowulf, which the children are very excited to share with you next week. Well done and thank you to all those parents helping with learning lines and providing costumes. As you can see from the photos, the children have also been busy painting swords, shields and other props. One thing that came to light doing this was how few children had an art apron in school so please can we ask for your support in ensuring all children have an art apron of some sort. An old oversized shirt or t-shirt is ideal. There will be more painting to come in the summer term!
The other event that must be mentioned this week is 4P's fabulous Listen to me Ukulele concert. What these children have achieved in one short term's worth of lessons is incredible, and testament both to their hard work and the skill of Miss Lai, their tutor. It was lovely to see the big smiles on the faces of both the children performing and the audience watching. Well done 4P!
