Another fantastic week in Year 3! The children started the week by watching Aesops Fables as part of our new English unit. We have explored a range of fables but have focused on the Hare and the Tortoise. On Friday, in our English lesson, the children acted out different events from the Hare and the Tortoise fable.

In maths this week, we have continued to learn about place value. Our main piece of learning has been about partitioning three-digit numbers into hundreds, tens and ones! Ask your child to show you how to do this!

We have started our new geography unit this week which is all about 'Our Place' focusing on Chandler's Ford and the local area.
