Another term has whizzed by, we can't quite believe it! In maths, we have continued exploring fractions and this week we have consolidated our knowledge of unit fractions and then moved onto non-unit fractions and tenths. Please keep practising all the times tables, we have been really pleased with their weekly results which have been steadily improving. In English, we have finished writing our historical adventure stories, and they have been absolutely amazing! The children have really taken on board using precise vocabulary and fronted adverbials. They should feel very proud of themselves!

We all thoroughly enjoyed sharing our Platinum Jubilee celebrations, and it was lovely to see the children dancing to The Loco-motion with gusto! 

Next term in year 3, we welcome back Intergr8 Dance Company who will teach the children dance on a Friday afternoon. All the year 3's outdoor games lessons will be taught on a Wednesday afternoon.

During our first week back, we have our Roman play-in-a-day experience on Thursday 9th June. We can't wait to see the children dressed up!
