This week has been filled with many festive celebrations around school and within Year 3. 

Thank you to our Year 3 choir members who performed in the Christmas Carol concert on Wednesday. We enjoyed sharing the children’s achievements with you all too!

In Reading, we have continued to practise our skimming and scanning skills as well as our reading fluency and inference using The Iron Man. Year 3 met the space-bat-angel-dragon this week who is causing a problem for Hogarth and The Iron Man. Who will end up being the villain in the story?!

As we step into the final week, we will continue our multiplication and division learning with a focus on division.

On Thursday, we enjoyed our Christmas lunch together and were all dressed for the occasion with our Christmas jumpers.

Over the course of the week, two mischievous elves have been getting up to all sorts of trouble amongst the Year 3 classes from taking #ELFIES and putting them all over the Year 3 corridor and hanging upside down from the ceiling tiles to sliding on a zipwire using a clothes hanger! Who knows what next week might bring!
