In English this week, we have been exploring non-chronological reports with a view to writing about a newly found beast. Taking on the role of Magizoologists, the children have sketched a beast using all their knowledge of the unit so far. 

In maths, we began our addition and subtraction unit. We first recapped the formal methods and then explored adding decimals with thousandths. 

In dance this week, we had a break from our creative dance about volcanoes and earthquakes, to learn a new hip-hop  routine from a musical. The children were able to apply some of the moves they had already learnt from their volcano dance topic to use in the new routine. The children were incredibly quick at picking up the new moves!
