This week Year 5 finished their plastic pollution campaign posters. The children have worked really hard at gathering information and using persuasive devices have produced some excellent writing. We look forward to posting pictures of these, once they have finished their top copies. 

In Maths, the children came to the end of their fraction unit by exploring the relationship between findings fractions of amounts and multiplying a fraction by an integer. Do ask the children about these methods and keep practising them over the holiday. 

In Science, we began our new unit on materials. We started the unit by investigating how we can classify properties of materials.
