Year 6 Weekly Highlights 11.11.22
What a wonderful week it has been!
In English, we have been looking at a book called ‘Windrush Child’ and writing from the viewpoint of Leonard in diary form. We have enjoyed expressing his feelings and learning about the Windrush generation.
In Maths, we have been learning to multiply and divide with decimals in different methods. This has helped us to figure out the answers in a quicker way.
In Art, we have been working on our main cubism artwork. We drew people made out of 3D shape, and we had to put them in a pose, doing an activity.
In Science, we have finished our mind maps of light in green pen with more scientific language.
In Reading, we have been identifying between facts and inferences, backing them up with appropriate evidence.
Finally, in RE, we have been studying peace and what it means to ourselves. Also, we drew pictures for what peace means to you.
Have a good weekend!
