Year 6 have been learning all about fantastic beasts again, creating a wanted poster for a snallygaster that is on the loose. With these we've developed our use language to suit the purpose - to inform. 

Along with this, we've continued to look at place value with Maths and then started light in science. Here we proved that light travels in straight lines. 

On Tuesday we had our annual event of house captain speeches, something we always look forward to hearing. Lots of passionate children shared why they think they should be the representative of their house to their peers, who voted. The results were revealed in assembly and starting next week, they will be writing the weekly highlights. 
 

Next week is Harry Potter week and we are thoroughly looking forward to it!
