It's been a hot sunny week for year 3 this week and the children have enjoyed outdoor activities in their PE sessions outside where we are learning to communicate with one another and work as a team. The fabulous weather also meant that 3P could enjoy their practical spelling session on the playground with coloured chalks. Writing the vowels, naming some consonants and applying the -ing rule to root words.
Our DT sessions included exploring the French salad nicoise and tasting the core ingredients of tuna, anchovies, black olives and salad leaves. The children are excited to put their own twist on this classic salad next week.
In maths we have started our statistics units and investigated different types of graphs . TTRS x4 x8 next week.
Looking forward to sharing a reading lesson with our parents on Monday afternoon.
